A text club people asked to join

A short list of customers who opted in to hear about same-day openings and quiet-day offers.

Steps

  1. Choose a texting service made for businesses that records how and when each person signed up.
  2. Sign people up only with a written opt-in (a paper or online form, or a keyword they text you) and say how often you will text.
  3. Text only when there is something worth knowing: an opening today, a quiet-day perk, a change of hours.
  4. Make sure replying STOP works, and leave people alone once they use it.

What to count

Visits or bookings that mention the text, per message sent.

Keep it clean

Federal and state law, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, and the phone companies' own rules require a person's consent before you send them marketing texts. Never buy or borrow a list.
