Take an old item in for credit toward a new one, and pass the old ones to a local cause.
Steps
- Pick a category (shoes, bikes, phones, kitchen knives) and a credit per item.
- Agree with a local charity or recycler to take what you collect.
- Announce the day with what you accept and what you do not.
- Log each trade-in and where it went.
What to count
Trade-ins, and new-item sales that day.
Keep it clean
Phones and computers: wipe them before they leave your hands. Take batteries to a proper battery drop-off, never the trash.
